The Role Responsibilities

The HR Analytics BP is an integral team member of the wider Insight team. The role will focus on working closely with stakeholders across HR and the business to understand challenges and opportunities, frame business questions and define hypotheses to translate into insights and action, working closely with the wider WMA team to solution at scale. The focus on actionable insights is a key output and requires working in synergy with the change team to implement solutions and improve the service delivery model. The role will be a proactive analytics specialist with exceptional consulting skills, managing ambiguity across a complex global matrix organisation.

Partners with the business and understands the key challenges and opportunities to build solutions. Working as part of the WMA team to define solutions which work to resolve issues and enhance the analytics product set.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret large and diverse data sets, trends and results to provide actionable insights for HR and the organization, pushing data driven decision making and recommendations for future state solutions
  • Build models and establish frameworks which provide forward looking insights in HR trends and cross functional data opportunities
  • Work closely with various business teams to seek opportunities for additional data integrations and drive these requests to the right teams for delivery
  • Drive continuous improvement across the service delivery model, pushing for scalable solutions and providing clarity to stakeholders around expectations for hypotheses testing and impact across wider WMA delivery.
  • Work closely with the Global Process Owners to manage and define HR metrics, providing SME support and expertise for driving the answers to key business problems.
  • Understand the main business drivers for success; Acquire knowledge of the business and regional footprints; Awareness of the functional roles within HR, their interaction and involvement in the high-level business processes;
  • Understand and ensure alignment to the WMA service Model and to the wider HR Target Operating Model
  • Manage complex business reporting requirements from gathering to refinement to realisation; looking for opportunities to standardise and simplify by critically prioritising between regulatory and legal requirements against business processes
  • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high level information into details, abstract up from low level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from the underlying true business needs;
  • Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, working across multiple stakeholders, locations and delivery cycles
  • Drive to enhance the Analytics solution in synergy with stakeholders working to support the service by increasing capability and data maturity in and outside of the WMA team.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • 8+ years of experience across HR Analytics & Workforce Management
  • Strong data sense, eye for detail, highly energized and great multi-tasking ability
  • Exceptional problem solver with great communication, critical thinking skills and experience of using People Analytics solutions to solve for complex business problems
  • Ability to work independently as well as engaging with various stakeholders across peer groups
  • Project Management and/or consultancy experience essential
  • Possess an open mind-set and result-driven focus on customer needs
  • Prior experience of working in a complex matrix with a global reach
  • Prior experience using Success Factors, MicroStrategy, Tableau is ideal
  • Good interpersonal skill, meticulous with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Proven ability to work within a team environment
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and conflicting priorities positively, leveraging exceptional negotiation and influencing skills
  • Understanding of Analytics service models and technology platforms with enthusiasm to build knowledge and grow reputation in the industry
  • Ability to make good/sound decisions and use independent judgment
  • Advanced MS Office Suite Skills including PowerPoint, Excel etc.
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience
  • Ability to communicate complex information to stakeholders and across internal team
