Location: Bangalore, India or Pune, India

Working hours: 2:00pm to 11:00pm IST for Bangalore / 4:00pm to 1:00am IST for Pune

The ideal candidate would deeply understand AVANA’s way of working across various locations and contribute significantly to ensure productive measures are taken to create a better employee experience. The individual accomplishes significantly by collaborating with other operations and HR administrators in Bahrain and the US by contributing to creating employee processes, documenting processes, and contributing to improving employee throughput.   • Responsibilities and Targeted Accomplishments

As HR Officer, you will become the first point of contact in India for all HR-related queries from employees and external partners.

  • Areas of responsibility include office coordination, human resources management, payroll entry, and administrative support to the Country Manager
  • Maintain all employee documentation and employee personnel files
  • Employee time sheet review and verification
  • Coordinate employee hiring process from postings to new employee orientation
  • Benefits and staff compensation administration
  • Ensure compliance with state and central government labor laws and regulations
  • Review and approve supply requisitions, assigning and monitor clerical functions; order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Travel arrangement and event planning (conferences, trainings, etc as needed)
  • Interface with IT department on proper functioning of office equipment
  • Schedule and follow-up on meetings, appointments, and interviews
  • Facilitation of employee on boarding - new hires, review of paperwork, file creation
  • Review and record PTO and Insurance premium report for Payroll department
  • Responds timely to inquiries and requests from managers and employees regarding human resource policies, procedures, and employee benefit plans as well as employment verification
  • Assists in the creation and implementation of new procedures/controls to improve performance and increase departmental efficiency.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities, as appropriate.
  • To perform any additional requirement, tasks, and duties outside of his/her scope of work as deemed necessary by the Country Manager or the Management.
  • To ensure that the standards required by Law and by Management are always maintained in all areas of operations.

  • Core Values & Qualifications
  • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree with outstanding academic performance
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in various streams of human resources, office administrator and talent acquisition
  • Prior experience in banking / non-banking financial services firms along with HR Certification will be given priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and independently problem solve
  • Experience in handling Personnel data system, phone screening and scheduling appointments
  • Creative personality with ability to suggest improvements and attention to details
  • Ability to maintain flexibility, demonstrate composure while switching between tasks efficiently in a rapidly changing multi-national environment
  • Exceptional people skills-strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are a must ability to notice discrepancies in data
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills who can work with minimal supervision
