We are looking for Hydraulic Forming Machine Operator. To supervise & maintain production machines and equipment, ensuring the final product meets the required measurement, (by inputting the data in the PLC), quality and standards, in accordance with company standards and procedures.


Job Description-Hydraulic Forming Machine Operator

  • Set up hydraulic metal forming machinery & equipment for operation, run the machine and equipment and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance to ensure quality and conformity of final products
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment issues, perform maintenance & respond to requests for machinery repairs to minimize downtime, perform quality control, follow reporting and record-keeping procedures (computerized records of maintenance), and report problems to supervisor.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance and repair requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic and hydraulic tools, production machines.
  • Must be comfortable with diagrams, sketches, operations manuals,manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications and troubleshooting guides.
  • Ensures all activities are following all local OSHA and Fire Department regulations including Lock Out, tag Out, Arc Flash training, Arc Flash surveys, Electrical switchgear maintenance, fire detection and sprinkler systems.
  • Professionally addresses issues within the group and takes personal responsibility and ownership for anticipating and resolving issues.
  • Previous hydraulic machine operating experience in a metal forming manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience
  • Basic experience in Hydraulic Shear Cutting & Bending (GI /PPGI sheet)
  • Roll Forming and CNC operation and maintenance experience required
  • He should be capable in managing operations, troubleshooting & repair of Kspan UBM/Roll Forming Machine
  • Basic applied knowledge of mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and/or electronic systems
  • Analytical and numerical skills: the ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
