Summary

SAP Ariba’s Information Security team is responsible for identifying, assessing and managing threats, vulnerabilities, and associated risks to Ariba’s information assets and resources. This includes providing expertise and partnership with operating and maintaining various integrated security technologies to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of all information resources throughout a highly distributed cloud environment.

The Role

The Information Security Compliance Specialist will execute the Security Compliance team’s goal and vision. You will be advising the product team in implementation of policies, procedures and standards to govern the protection of corporate infrastructure and applications. The purpose is to always increase customer value and to improve the end-to-end flow of work through the organization. The focus is on effectiveness and delivery efficiency.

• Support security and compliance assessments and other risk identification processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to close identified gaps
• Maintain awareness of evolving security standards based on the industry and geographic jurisdiction
• Actively research and learn current and latest regulatory requirements
• Identify opportunities to mature and improve risk management capabilities
• Support development and improvements of processes and templates
• Support definition and achievement of KPI in cooperation with Management
• Support internal and external audit including follow up activities

Role Requirements

• Kowledge of Information Systems is preferred
