Responsibilities:

  • Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as electrocardiograms (ECGs), echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
    • Accurately diagnose cardiovascular conditions and determine the severity and extent of heart disease.
  • Treatment Planning:
    • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient’s condition, medical history, and diagnostic findings.
    • Determine appropriate medications, lifestyle modifications, and interventional procedures to manage the patient’s heart condition effectively.
  • Minimally Invasive Procedures:
    • Perform a range of minimally invasive procedures using catheter-based techniques to treat cardiovascular conditions.
    • Utilize advanced tools and technologies to access the heart through blood vessels, including cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, and balloon valvuloplasty.
    • Restore blood flow, remove blockages, repair damaged heart valves, and close defects using interventional techniques.
  • Patient Care and Follow-up:
    • Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
    • Educate patients about their condition, explain treatment options, and address their concerns and questions.
    • Monitor patients closely during procedures and manage post-procedural care.
    • Conduct regular follow-up visits to assess the patient’s progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and ensure optimal recovery.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork:
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including general cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, anesthesiologists, and radiologists.
    • Consult and coordinate with colleagues to ensure comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes for complex cases.
  • Research and Education:
    • Engage in research activities and clinical trials to advance knowledge and techniques in interventional cardiology.
    • Stay up to date with the latest developments and innovations in the field through continuous education and professional development.

    Qualifications:

    DM Cardiolology

    Experience: 3-4 Years
