The Team-

Danske Bank IT Procurement Team is responsible for procuring all IT related activities: SaaS, Software, IT Services, Communications (telco solutions), Hardware. The team consists of 16 people with an international mindset is located in Copenhagen, Århus, Vilnius. It is a mix between experienced and senior professionals and young talents.

IT Procurement is expanding and for newly formed IT Sourcing Team we are looking for IT Associate - Procurement Manager.

Job Description –

· Procurement Manager shall be managing the IT sourcing projects and must be able to understand the business requirements and execute the sourcing strategies

· Work with various stakeholders from business units, IT, legal, and compliance for the execution of sourcing projects.

· Deep understanding of IT categories (software, SaaS, telecommunication, hardware and IT services), its features.

· Ability to challenge stakeholder requirements in a discrete business manner.

· High advantage - experience with IT outsourcing agreements.

Primary Responsibilities: -

· Execution of high value, complex sourcing activities in the bank.

· Establish and implement clear strategic sourcing plans based on IT category strategies.

· Will be responsible to drive end to end activities which includes establishing sourcing strategies building and managing the Rfx , developing the TCO model and conduct contractual and commercial negotiation.

· Should be able to manage complex and high value projects independently with proven negotiation skills and managing the entire contract life cycle

· Ability to draft contractual clauses and understand legal, compliance, risk clauses impact on contract, commercial negotiations.

· Complex sourcing project negotiations with major IT vendors

· Preparation of business case scenarios

· Ability to identify solutions for complex business problems with proactive approach

· Drive cost optimization projects

Must have:-

· Years of experience:- Around 8 to 12 Years (5+ Years with Sr. level experience from IT Procurement / IT Sales; Proven working experience with major IT vendors and global stakeholders is a must.)

· Qualification –Graduate or Post Graduate. Procurement domain certification would be added advantage

· Able to understand the market dynamics

· Worked with global stakeholders and have strong stakeholder management skills

· Collaboration and Interpersonal skills

· Should have global exposure in managing sourcing projects

· Experienced in RFx(RFI, RFP, RFQ, Reverse Auction) methodologies

· Contractual and commercial negotiation capability

· Ability to draft contractual clauses on its own

· Worked in cross cultural teams with multinational companies

· Strong Analytical skills

· Strong command over English language and eye for details, good communication skills

· Good presentation skills: oral and verbal

· Aware of multiple sources to validate prices/benchmarking apart from RFx.

· Able to adapt to constant changes.

· Result oriented and proactive

· Team work and project management skills
