The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, GST filling and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

-preparing accounts and tax returns

-auditing financial information

-compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries and financial statements

analysing business plans

-providing tax planning services based on current legislation

-financial forecasting and risk analysis

-dealing with insolvency situations

-negotiating the terms of business deals with clients

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

2-5 years of accounting/finance experience

Demonstrate intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with accounting software

Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization

Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation

Highly detail-oriented
