JOB DESCRIPTION Basic Information Position Title Business Manager Government Business Grade/Level Sr. Manager / Avp Vertical Government Business Location Regional Offices Business Liabilities Department Liabilities Sales Organizational Relationships Position Reporting to Regional Business Manager Government Business Direct Reports if any NA Job Purpose Business Manager responsible for Business Development for assigned locations as well as servicing existing clients/portfolio. Qualification MBA Relevant Experience 8+Years Functional Competencies Ability to motivate others on a team and help them to succeed Problem solving skills, especially in situation of high stress Strong knowledge of company policy , goals and standards Behavioural Competencies Confident with go getter approach Succeed Together, Nurture Talent Hard Work and Detail Orientation, Industry Awareness Job Responsibilities Financial and Non Financial Responsibilities Acquisition of Central & State Government clients including PSUs, Govt. PF Trusts, Urban local bodies, Govt. schemes, Sec 8 Cos, Co-op Banks, Societies, Trusts under the Government Product range includes Fixed Deposits, CASA, Digital services, CMS solutions related to Collections & Payments & other banking & financial products Liaising with Govt officials at all levels Empanelment of the bank for various Govt. schemes Engagement with various ministries to identify business opportunities Work closely in synergy with other teams to build a substantial Government Business book Would be responsible for handling transaction & investment banking business like Payments, Collections, Fixed Deposits, FX, Electronic Transfers, Online Payment Gateway, Asset business & other banking & financial products to the retail institutional clients Needs to have very strong Banking knowledge and should be well versed with the products, processes and systems of the bank. Needs to be approachable and should have the ability to guide and be the first point of contact for the employees Accuracy and analytical ability on MIS, eye for details, meticulous, good communication skills, good team member, good analytical skills, positive approach Compliance & Risk Responsibilities Ensuring that team adheres to laid down processes and policies To provide key inputs related to market/segment to strengthen risk framework Key Interactions Internal External Credit Team, Sales Team, Legal, MIS , Collections, Technical and Operations team Customers Documented By Talent Acquisition Team, Human Resources Approved By Approved By
