Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Centrifugal Foundry Plant Manager to join our team at DCS Group. As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of our centrifugal foundry plant located in Silvassa, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, India. This is a full-time position with an Executive level role. The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years of experience in a similar role.

Qualifications And Skills

  • More than 10 years of experience in a similar role within the foundry industry
  • Strong knowledge of centrifugal casting processes, techniques, and equipment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations of the centrifugal foundry plant, ensuring efficient and smooth production processes
  • Manage and lead a team of plant employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as quality standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements
  • Monitor and analyze production data and metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain and update plant equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
  • Manage inventory levels, including raw materials and finished goods, to meet production demands
  • Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management
