A Center of Excellence for Financial Reporting has been created in Boston, Mumbai & Manila. Integral to the function is the use of the Unity Confluence or DFIN ARC system for the preparation of the financial statements and other administrative and regulatory reporting. Currently, the system requires technical support (limited to data processing, production and project development) from the Financial Reporting Business Support Group (FRBSG).

Currently 3 regions in EMEA (Luxemburg, Edinburgh and Dublin) and WHEM supported by the team. The FRBSG Team will also be responsible for providing production and project development support to financial reporting process for the Fund Groups across the regions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide desk-side and global support to internal Operations teams to support application changes in the QA or Production environments
  • Perform regression testing on resolved production tickets to ensure there were no unintended impacts and coordinate status reporting
  • Review existing Unity/ARC reports and document business logic
  • Review existing Unity/ARC data inbound logic and document business logic, data destination and report destination
  • R esponsible for analyzing, trouble-shooting and resolving production tickets based on agreed upon SLAs with business partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to perform business analysis relating to custom logic and report development
  • Implement new mutual funds and share classes onto applications and ensure readiness for production release
  • Implement new reports onto applications and ensure readiness for production release
  • Evening and weekend application support required periodically
  • Assist with disaster recovery testing on an as needed basis
  • Managing and Implementing Projects across the strategic tools
  • Liaison between Operations and Technology
  • Mitigate risks through proactive issue identification and communicate with business partners on status of critical issues
  • Work with Technology, Operations and other Stakeholders to determine process improvements
  • Experience multi-tasking and working across multiple business areas and/or functions to deliver results

Qualifications & Technology Experience:

  • At least 6 to 8 years of experience in Tech Support, UAT or Business Support group
  • Knowledge of securities services industry and products is preferred
  • Knowledge of Fund Services (Accounting, Financial Reporting & Fund Administration) a plus
  • Working knowledge of one or more JPMorgan securities product, service or operations areas preferred
