The Blackline Administrator role is focused on the global platform “Blackline”, used for automation of the Month-End Closing process. The Administrator is responsible for the ongoing configuration of Blackline, User management and second line support and is part of a group of Platform Administrators that can support and pool resources if and when needed.

If you think you’ll like to manage the following responsibilities at higher standards:

Continuous improvement

  • Support the GSM on the improvement of the platform
  • Blackline configuration based on functional specifications

Application Management

  • New user configuration and configuration of role changes
  • Support Blackline licenses management as per global decisions
  • Configuration of all aspects of Blackline
  • Configuration of controls in Blackline where available
  • First line issue resolution for Blackline Platform
  • Coordinator for IT issues supporting Blackline and requester to IT Service Groups (SAP; QAD; JDE)

Process Data analytics

  • Data availability for analysts
  • Blackline report configuration

And If You Have/are

  • Master Degree in Data science or similar
  • Additional training in Finance and/or Business Administration is a plus
  • English fluency
  • Good understanding of and experience in the Blackline platform. Eagerness to become an expert.
  • Understanding of how ERPs work; understanding of data analytics e.g. Power BI is a well appreciated bonus
  • Good understanding of and experience in the Month-End Closing process
  • Affinity with IT technical processes, mathematics and analytical skills
  • Good understanding of data structures and data access
