Purpose of the job:

Responsible for high quality support and administration service to General Manager-Legal & Secretarial in ensuring The Manipal Groups obligation to comply with all the applicable legislations.


Job Descriptions:

1. To maintain statutory register, manage all tasks relating to Securities and their transfer and transmission.

2. Responsible for filing, registering any document including forms, returns and applications by and on behalf of the company as an authorized representative.

3. To coordinate the board/general meetings and follow-up actions thereof.

4. To act as the custodian of corporate records, statutory books and registers.

5. To manage the Secretarial/Compliance Audit.

6. Signing of Annual Return where necessary and responsible for other declarations, attestations, and certifications under the Companies Act.

7. Manage relationships and all issues relating to the Board of Directors and Shareholders, including convening Board, Committee and General Meetings.

8. Ensure compliance by the Bank with best Corporate Governance Practices including risk identification and mitigation, and FEMA compliances.


Skills/Knowledge/Competencies required

An ideal candidate should come with at least 3-6 years of relevant experience in a (diversified) business environment.

Should exhibit high degree of professional ethics and integrity.

Should exhibit sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.

Should possess good communication skills (verbal/ Written).


Qualification: Graduation/ Post Graduation in Law + Membership from ICSI
