We are seeking a skilled Content Writer fluent in Telugu to contribute to our news app and YouTube channel. As a content writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and informative content in Telugu across various topics, including current affairs, politics, entertainment, technology, and more. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality content on tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce well-researched, accurate, and engaging written content in Telugu for our news app and YouTube channel
  • Stay updated on current events, trends, and developments in Telugu-speaking regions to identify relevant topics for content creation
  • Write articles, news updates, opinion pieces, and feature stories in Telugu, adhering to the editorial guidelines and style of the platform
  • Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and increase visibility
  • Collaborate with the video production team to create scripts for Telugu-language videos, ensuring clarity, coherence, and audience engagement
  • Verify the accuracy of information and ensure all content is factually correct and free from errors
  • Assist in the promotion of content through social media platforms and other channels to increase audience reach and engagement
  • Meet tight deadlines while maintaining the quality and consistency of content production
  • Receive and incorporate feedback from editors and stakeholders to improve content quality and relevance

Requirements

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Telugu is essential
  • Prior experience as a content writer, journalist, or blogger in Telugu media is preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong command over grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary in Telugu
