Your role

Are you an analytical data expert who has the technical skills to solve complex problems – and the curiosity to explore what problems need to be solved? Are you part mathematician, part computer scientist, part program manager and part trend-spotter? Do you like to play between both the business and IT worlds? Do you use technology-driven processes, technologies, and architectures that convert raw data into actionable information which drives informed/profitable actions. Are you interested in AML (Anti Money Laundering) and how to apply data science to solve some of the world’s most complex problems?

Do you think about big data as a gold mine that unearths business insights and transforms how decisions are made. Do you apply scientific methods, processes, algorithms and systems to extract knowledge and insights from noisy, structured and unstructured data, and apply knowledge from data across a broad range of application domains. To you look at complex issues and break them down to their core elements?

Are you a skilled Project manager, skilled at planning, executing and completing projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring to control and closure?

We are looking for a Data Analyst who can:

  • enable effective and efficient compliance with new or changing regulations, develop and propose changes to reporting, data management (including metadata management and data access technologies), processes, products, etc.
  • handle business wide reporting - Prepare, design, and develop reporting tools, targeting senior management audience with data gathering and modeling strategies.
  • conduct system wide audits to ensure a high level of scrutiny, accuracy, and efficiency to evaluate and mitigate business and sector risk.
  • introduce process improvement steps and controls throughout the reporting process, while maintaining the integrity of the data.
  • track progress against agreed remediation deadlines and actively manage key support areas to monitor and escalate issues.

Project Coordination and Management:
  • manage all aspects of regulatory change projects, including project planning, reporting, execution, timing, quality, cost, risks, resources and overall project governance.
  • work closely with and establish effective communication channels with key stakeholders, SME’s and clients to gather project requirements, specifications and limitations in order to develop state of the art reporting capabilities.
  • communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, with ability to influence and challenge key decision makers, peer groups, internal service providers and functions outside direct control

Your team

We are a team within Wealth Management USA that supports the COO organization. This role is across all the US Lines of business (CUSO wide)

Your expertise

  • statistical analysis and reporting, process reengineering
  • develop forecasting models and other analytics
  • Data preparation: the process of converting raw data into another format so it can be more easily consumed.
  • Text analytics: the process of examining unstructured data to glean key business insights.
  • Data visualization: analyze current and historical data and presents findings in easy-to-digest reports, dashboards, graphs, charts, and maps that can be shared
  • Program management, ownership, and entrepreneurism

Software applications and programming languages: SQL, Python, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), SharePoint, and Tableau.
