Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
  • Designing of Front axle beam, Front axle support, King pin, Stub axle, front axle hub & other steering related components.
  • Designing of other fabricated, forging, casting & plastic components related to steering & front axles
  • Calculation of kinematics of Steering linkages & Turning radius etc.
  • Co-ordination with CAE for design optimization.
  • Co-ordination with internal aggregates like Testing, Proto building, Sourcing, ME & Assembly to validate & implement the design changes.
  • Benchmarking of competitor models & VAVE initiatives.
Experience
  • 7-10 Years of experience in design of Front axle & steering related components using CAD software’s (NX) & Team center.
QualificationsB.E / B. Tech Electrical and Electronics engineering; MS/MTech is added advantage
