Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for the landscape project. Assess the site conditions, such as topography, soil composition, and existing vegetation.

Concept Development: Develop creative and innovative landscape designs that incorporate the client’s requirements, functional needs, and design aesthetics. Prepare concept sketches, mood boards, and 3D visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively.

Site Analysis: Conduct a thorough analysis of the site, considering factors like drainage, sunlight exposure, wind patterns, and existing structures. Evaluate the environmental impact and sustainability aspects of the proposed design.

Plant Selection and Layout: Choose appropriate plant species based on the site conditions, climate, and client preferences. Create planting plans and select materials for hardscape features, such as paths, patios, decks, and walls.

Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed construction drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and specifications. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers to ensure the design is implemented correctly and meets building codes and regulations.

Cost Estimation and Budgeting: Develop accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment required for the landscape project. Work with clients to establish project budgets and make design modifications if necessary to align with the budget.

Project Management: Oversee the implementation of landscape designs, coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure the proper execution of the plan. Monitor the progress of the project, address any issues or changes, and ensure adherence to timelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in landscape design, preferably with a portfolio showcasing previous projects.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Strong knowledge of plant materials, landscape construction techniques, and environmental considerations.
  • Excellent creative and artistic skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Salary: From ₹12,500.00 per month
