KRAs :

Media Preparation and conducting microbiological analysis of required samples.(Especially

TPC, Y/M and entero bacteriaceae )

Ensure that Ph and conductivity meter are maintained in good condition and

Standardizing with reference ph on a regular basis.

Ensure that given L.I is thoroughly studied, understood and followed correctly while

Conducting microbiological tests.

Ensure temperature in incubator, autoclave and oven is monitored documented on a regular

basis. Any deviation of such critical parameters should be informed to QAM.

Responsible for record keeping of microbiological related I.C.PS.

To make regular hygiene round of the plant and report any deviation in GMP.

Take swab test of workers arrange for training programmes in case anybody found high

pathogenic contamination

To maintain the inventory of media’s and inform once in a month in advance for purchase

of any media or glassware’s etc.

Record daily temperature and humidity of the Laboratories (i.e. General and Salmonella

Lab.)

Ensure that unauthorized persons are not allowed inside the Micro Laboratory.

Drawing samples for microbiological analysis as when required.

Co-ordinate with colleague to follow good lab practices.

Member of Internal Audit team and Food Safety team.

Internal facilitator for Pest Control activities and monitored GHP practices at site.

Experience/Knowledge/Technical Skill sets required:

Experience of at least 3-5 years active in micro testing.

Good knowledge of micro equipment’s and its handling

Should effectively perform testing of mixed microbes, pathogens

Have participated in P-test, will be added skill.

Essential Requirement :

Must be microbiology background and hand on experience in relevant field
