The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and security of cloud hosted system and network.

• Provides user support for the entire Cloud Operations.
  
• Performs engineering, administration, and support functions for Company’s cloud hosted client/server environment, including design, installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrade of all hardware and software, including servers, workstations, phones, and other technologies
  
• Performs engineering, administration, and support functions for the Company’s cloud LAN, including design of network infrastructure, installation, integration, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of network systems, including firewalls, routers, load balancers, switches, and other network technologies
  
• Manages Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, data backup and file encryption systems.
  
• Provisions and maintains server and workstation virtualization hardware and software
  
• Implements and administers performance monitoring, system availability, and patch management solutions for servers and workstations
  
• Establishes and maintains documentation of the Company’s cloud network and systems architecture, operating systems software, devices and communications specifications.
  
• Inventories new computer equipment and maintains the inventory database
  
• 24x7 on-call availability

• Selection, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of server and workstation hardware and software
  
• Design, implementation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of firewalls, routers, load balancers, and other network infrastructure technologies
  
• Server virtualization technologies, storage area networks, NAS devices, and telephony
  
• Troubleshooting hardware related issues, ability to replace various hardware components
  
• Server and endpoint monitoring and patching technologies
  
• Group Policy management, AD, DNS, and DHCP administration
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
  
• Implementing and maintaining VOIP technologies
  
• Knowledge of firewall, secure mail, and VPN technologies
  
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning
  
• Physical access control and monitoring systems
  
• Exposure to Microsoft Azure added advantage.
• Education
  A Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required.
