Job PurposeThe Contract Manager will be responsible for managing the organization’s contracts with clients, vendors, and other parties. The Manager will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts to ensure that they meet the organization’s legal and business requirements.Key Responsibilities
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and other parties.
  • Ensure that contracts are compliant with relevant laws and regulations in the Indian ecosystem.
  • Develop and maintain a contract management system to track and monitor contract status and renewals.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract terms and conditions.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
  • Manage contract negotiations and ensure that contracts are executed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact for contractual matters.
  • Ensure that contracts are properly stored and maintained in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
  • Drive process efficiency to current tasks and seek innovative ways to improve performance of the team; and
  • Coordinate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of compliance tasks
  • Ensure that the organization is complying with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address process issues to ensure adherence to the agreements, laws and regulations.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory changes and provide guidance to the organization on compliance matters
  • Train employees on compliance policies and procedures
Qualifications -
  • Bachelor’s degree in law or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in contract management or legal roles.
  • Strong understanding of Indian laws and regulations related to contracts.
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and other parties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
