Job Summary:

They are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager in the field of Railway S&T to manage the company’s supply of products and services. Procurement Manager responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. The Procurement Manager’s duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Material Procurement & Planning for Project.

  • Budget & Cost analysis with vendor management.

  • Preparation of PO & Hands-on experience in analyzing material forecast for Project.

  • Costing & Bid Meetings for upcoming tenders.

  • Approval for variation in BOQ & Billing Of Material (BOM).

  • PO & WO amendment with software SAP HANA.

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience (7-10 years) as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement with previous experience in the Signalling industry.

  • Know-how of Railway Signalling market

  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market

  • Talent in negotiations and networking

  • Good knowledge of supplier or third party management software

  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers

  • Experience in collecting and analysing data

  • Strong leadership capabilities

  • B.Sc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration or B.Tech Engineering
