Roles and Responsibilities

  • Act as an “interface” between ACS and PTR on understanding market, customer and application/environment specific technical requirements and incorporating them in the technical specifications.
  • Manage related communications between ACS and PTR Technology/Engineering teams.
  • Lead the planning, definition and execution of the related NPI effort conducted in collaboration with other PTR Technology Centers and Product related Centre of Excellence.
  • Provide effective means for executing competitive designs of high quality and reliability (design rules (DH) standard industrial procedures (IH), design tools/software and standard material specifications (SMS)).
  • Lead effort on creating, developing and maintaining business relations, effective communication and collaboration with suppliers, in order to ensure effective supplier/product qualification process.
  • Manage collaboration with 3rd parties service providers related to application specific analyses and scientific calculations.
  • Provide effective support to Engineering CoE and Execution teams on related commercial projects, from ITO to OTR stage, including active participation in the TRA, DR & GR process.
  • Fully implement and support PTR common technology and standards, CPC and CPC, where available and applicable.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of related technology/deliverables and actively support applicable cost-out effort.
  • Organize and take part in dedicated trainings focusing on the Floating S/S technology and application.

Required Qualifications

  • Transformer Mechanical Design
  • Static and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (Seismic would be a benefit)
  • Vibroacoustic Analysis
  • Corrosion Protection
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Advanced level of English both oral & written
  • Knowledge of 2d & 3d Cad Software (Autodesk, Auto-cad and Inventor) would be an asset
  • Min. 15+ years’ experience in Mechanical Design
