Job Description- R&D Nutraceutical/Health & Wellness/ Cosmeceuticals/ Dietary supplements

·Phytochemistry - Isolation, characterization and analysis of secondary metabolites

·Bioassay guided fractionation of plant extracts

·Regular analytical method development and validation, method development for residual pesticides in herbal extracts, and method developments involving mainly LC-MSMS, HPLC and HPTLC, uncertainty measurement and implementation of GLP in laboratory.

·Certified Internal auditor for compliance with ISO17025:2005, ISO 22000:2005, ISO 9001:2008 and OHSAS 18001:2007

·Ability to plan and develop process based on chromatographic systems for enriching and isolating biomolecules.

·Product development for cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals and therapeutic purpose from natural resources through different process like solvent-solvent extraction, fractionation, enrichment, precipitation, crystallization etc.

·Process development and optimization for extraction, isolation or enrichment of bio-active compounds and scale up of process from lab scale to commercial scale.

·Development of commercially feasible extraction procedures for medicinal plants

·’Quality’ monitoring and improvement of botanicals - Adulteration, pesticides and residual solvents

·Project Management - working with team on product, process, packaging development, regulatory, nutrition, and manufacturing scaling up.

·Tests the ruggedness of the formulae by conducting suitable clinical trials around the globe.

·Responsible for literature survey, Patent evaluation, biodiversity laws update.

·Conducting stability studies at different conditions.

·Managing cross functional activities encompassing in-process Quality Assurance and Monitoring the quality of the incoming Raw materials.

·Application of HACCP as per the requirement and maintaining all the records according to FSMS which is necessary for the FSSC.

·Write, edit, update, and maintain GMP-related SOP’s, master process specifications, batch manufacturing records and, developing products and services are in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

·Expertise in formulation development and manufacturing of both solid and semisolid dosage forms.

Other Requirements

Experience- 8-10 years’ experience in Nutraceutical product development and manufacturing

Education- M.Sc.- Bio-Chemistry / Bio- Technology / Phytochemistry

Location- Palakkad Kerala

Language- English or Hindi

Good Communication Skills and Leadership Skills
