The safety engineer will develop procedures and design systems to protect people from illness,injury, and property damage. This position will supervise project safety personnel, monitor siteconditions and industry initiatives in this area, introducing the best and most successfulpractices in the company.Job Duties ResponsibilityMaintain and apply knowledge of current health and safety policies, regulations, andindustrial processesReview plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure thatthey meet safety requirementsIdentify and correct potential hazards by inspecting facilities, machinery, and safetyequipmentEvaluate the effectiveness of various industrial control mechanismsI nvestigate industrial accidents and injuries to determine their causes and to determinewhether the incidents were avoidable or can be prevented in the futur eInstall safety devices on machinery or di rect the installation of these devicesReview employee safety programs and recommend improvementsThis job is provided by Shine.com
