Job Description

The Insight Global Value Services (GVS) team is focused on helping sales teams globally demonstrate the business value of Oracle’s solutions in a deal cycle, thus helping close deals faster. The GVS team works on Remote Insights (RI) which are customized business cases including ROI or TCO calculations as required in the deal cycle. RIs are effective for smaller cloud deals that can be supported remotely. GVS can also train the sales reps in effectively delivering the documents in a customer meeting and also help present the same to customers as needed.

The GVS team works across SaaS, PaaS & IaaS and supports the Americas, EMEA & JAPAC - both the field organizations and Oracle Digital organizations.

Role: - Senior Associate/Senior Consultant (Oracle Insight)

Location: - Oracle Gurugram

Job Objective:-

Enable and help to close deals to Oracle Technology/Cloud applications sales team using Value Consulting approach and providing them market insight.

Key Responsibilities :-
  • Effective interaction with global sales teams and development of turnkey deliverables with elements of process mapping, gap analysis, story boarding and financial analysis.
  • Conduct process discovery sessions with the client to understand their current challenges and priorities.
  • Creation of high quality value based business case presentations using information gathered from client discovery sessions and industry benchmarks.
  • Present and defend the business case to key client stakeholders.
  • Engagement related stakeholder management.
  • Creating/Customizing the business cases, Including ROI model.
Required Experience & Education:-
  • MBA preferred from a well-recognized University.
  • 4-7 years of relevant work experience in good IT companies, KPO organizations, market/business research companies.
  • Should have fair understanding of IT market/ trend (Focused to Cloud technologies).
  • Fair amount of understanding/ working knowledge in to financial analysis.
  • Must have experience in creating various reports based on Company Profiling, Competitive Intelligence, Financial Modelling, Secondary Research etc.
  • Having excellent working knowledge on different research databases like Factiva, Orbis, Capital IQ, Thomson One, Bloomberg etc.
Key Competencies: -
  • Strong enterprise process understanding.
  • Strong business research skills.
  • Understanding of IT Landscape/Market.
  • Good understanding of financial statements & terms, their implications, comparative financial analysis.
  • Good financial modeling skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Provides programs to improve operational efficiency, consistency, and compliance in support of the organization’s financial and tactical business objectives. Provides business practices and processes. Develops, communicates, and trains the organization on business practices and processes.

Serve as a liaison with other divisions such as Finance, Contracts, HR, Legal, Shared Services, Accounts Receivable, Purchasing, and Risk Management in an effort to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing. Collect, input, verify, correct, and analyze data to measure key performance indicator actual versus business objectives. Provide updates to management regarding budget to actual, informing them of deviations and opportunities. Provide management with economic impact and compliance issues surrounding key business decisions and/or deals. Communicate Oracle Business Practices to the organization and monitor process and approvals for full compliance. Drive implementation of new processes and procedures.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Attention to detail critical. Ability to collect, organize, and display data in spreadsheet format. Follow-through skills necessary to get information from internal and third parties and have data errors/omissions corrected. For this, relationship management skills strongly desired. Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with management and possible clients desired. 5 plus years relevant work experience.
