Sr. developer Mainframe (P2):

Solid individual contributor on a geographically distributed and cross-functional team. Quickly adapt to evolving designs, business needs and delivers a quality product. Good understanding of Support functions including the batch nightly process. Learn new practices, design patterns, frameworks on the way.

Skills / Experience required:
Essential:
  • Strong fundamentals in Mainframes.
  • Experience on COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL and VSAM, SQL
  • Working experience/Knowledge of Stored Procedures
  • Very strong debugging / troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in all phases of SDLC including proof of concept, technical design (high and low level), coding, unit testing, implementation

Nice to have:
  • Exposure to Java or C# or Python
  • Knowledge of Financial domain (Retirement or Mutual Fund)
  • Working experience in Agile/Scrum / DevOps environment
  • DB2 fine-tuning the queries and building tools using Rexx
