Education:

• Bachelor of Biomedical Engineering or
• Master / Bachelor of Science or Physics; or
• Bachelor of Mass Communication or
• Any Engineering degree

Work Experience:Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Job Location: Bhiwadi (RAJASTHAN)

Job Summary:

• As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for contributing to all the documentation needs during the NPD activities for Biomedical products used that are part of the Allied Medical.
• In this role you will be required to own and manage the R&D Knowledgebase (KB) achieving accurate & on-time updates that enable Continual improvement
• Manage Knowledgebase Articles across R&D team; research knowledge requirements; generate reporting and communicate with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Study schematics, drawings, specifications, product samples, design documents, operating procedures, technical manuals and standards of Ventilators, Anesthesia equipment
• Draft technical documents and complete technical writing assignments according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology.
• Assist the Technical Team in developing technical content and templates of design documents, user manuals, manufacturing & quality assurance processes as specified by engineering specifications/regulatory requirements
• Develop technical guidance material and explanatory handbooks required for regulatory compliances and voluntary standards.

Desired Experience:

• Experience in technical writing in a regulated engineering domain such as active medical devices, lifesaving equipment.
• Knowledge/Experience/Familiarity with controlled language such as ISO 13485 / ISO 9001 / ISO 60601 will be preferred.
• Experience in preparing user manuals, maintenance manuals and Illustrated Parts Catalog (s) will be preferred.
• Candidates with experience/internal auditor training in any QMS standard such as ISO 9001will be preferred.
• Knowledge of software such as Adobe illustrator / InDesign, Isodraw, PageMaker would be added advantage (but not mandatory)

Desired Skills:

• Written Communication: Ability to write clearly and informatively; Edit work for spelling and grammar; Vary writing style to meet needs; Able to read and interpret written technical communication. Capable of writing detailed theory of operation.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment; Manage working in a fast-paced start-up environment; change approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
• Dependability: Follow instructions, respond to management direction; take responsibility for own actions; commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals; complete tasks on time or notify appropriate persons with an alternate plan.
• Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; Look for ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; Monitor own work to ensure quality.

Service Agreement:

Applicant agrees to 2 years of Service with Allied Medical and submit the original testimonials at the time of joining for 2 years.
