Job Description
  • Responsible for implementing the given sales plan by stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage the sales team with learning and development.
  • Apply new marketing strategies and solutions to meet sales targets.
  • Establish, maintain and expand the customer base and the sales target.
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams.
  • Present sales, revenue, expenses report and realistic forecasts to the stakeholders.
  • Hands on experience in ETL, BTL, and TTL marketing activities
  • Familiar with dealing with farmers and related associations government bodies (agri department and ministries)
  • Hands on experience in understanding agri business and its supply chain
  • Should have good local presence and network.
  • Understanding of technology and scrum process.
  • Quick learn adaptive
  • Must represent the companys Vision, Values & maintain good Brand Image in the market and in front of the customers.
  • Prepare & present sales plan for the given territory & make strategy to achieve target.
  • Responsible for architecting month-on-month sales and marketing strategy for the zone, including sales plans (Area-wise/district-wise/taluka wise), milestones and budgets.
  • The Zonal Manager will be also responsible for organizational efficiency to optimize sales and revenue generation thereby maximising profitability.
  • Establish and implement processes for the systematic approach for the sales team.
  • Create and evaluate promotional plans to drive demand and product awareness
  • Represent the Business in external forums and associations, as required in the zones
  • Mentor the team to achieve the planned targets and provide support on professional and individual development
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in agri-business marketing & sales, preferably in hi-tech agriculture.
  • Must have good knowledge of local dialect (Chattigarhi language) Hindi and English
  • Ability to build and set up the entire marketing and sales team and proven track record for doing the same.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (mandatory) with aptitude in building relationships with professionals at all organizational levels.
  • The inclination to use technology as a tool for all service offerings.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and constantly growing environment.
  • Agri-business graduates preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong presentation, communication and interpersonal skills (mandatory).
  • Ready to travel to various locations in a given territory.
  • Well organized, keeping to deadlines, proactive and responsible.
  • Always ready to take up challenges.
  • The inclination to use technology as a tool for all service offerings.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and constantly growing environment.
  • Experience in sales and marketing of high-tech horticulture products in a direct to farmer scenario is critical.
Preferred
  • Must have good selling experience in Agri-tech and IOT products
