We are looking for excellent engineers that epitomize technical and operational excellence that can drive innovation and apply technologies to solve real world challenges.

Full cycle product development experience from inception through maturity is important. Working simultaneously on projects in different phases is common; you are able to demonstrate strong design and validation skills in addition to the understanding of mechanics of ongoing operational excellence and product support.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development of tools and equipment in manufacturing value chain
• Responsible for understanding, clarifying and reviewing tooling design specification, design verification & validation, design risk associated in manufacturing value chain
• Responsible for creation of technical design documentation such 3D CAD, 2D drawings, technical construction file, HSE risks assessment, DFMEA
• Contribute to cost reduction and improve quality through standardization, modularization and process efficiency improvements
• Deliver the technical solution within quality, time and cost targets of the project
• Lead the design and development of new plastic injection mold tooling to meet strict part and assembled device requirements
• Collaborate with product designers to improve the manufacturing feasibility of plastic, rubber and metal parts using your extensive tooling experience as well as industry best practices
• Collaborate with tooling suppliers in the design, manufacturing and qualification of world class tooling, as well as supporting molding process development
• Collaborate with our cross functional team in the selection of materials to meet performance, dimensional and cosmetic requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vendor management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor’s/Masters degree in Mechanical engineering or allied
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Tool design and /or product engineering manufacturing is required
