Introduction

Games24x7 was one of the first entrants in the gaming industry in 2006, when India started showing the first signs of promise for online gaming. In 2018-19, the mobile games market in India generated over $600 million in revenues. With close to 450 people in its Mumbai and Bangalore offices, Games24x7 is India’s largest mobile games business today and is very well positioned to become the 800-pound gorilla of what will be a $2 billion market by 2022. While Games24x7 continues to invest aggressively in its India centric mobile games, it is also diversifying its business by investing in international gaming and other tech opportunities.

Position:Visual Development Artist

Role summary:

At Games24x7, we believe that great games are made by people who are passionate about actually making them!

The Visual Artist will work with the Art Lead, Art Director and Producer, creating art assets which drive the visual identity of the game. You will be working with a comprehensive creative team & game designer and bring ideas from imagination to reality.

The artist will create high impact, engaging illustrations, UI elements and concept layouts for mobile games: isometric objects, decor, characters, people and animals, environment, illustrations, match-3 elements that define high quality game aesthetics(composition, mood, tone of the world) to the player.

Responsibilities:

  • Display quick sketching ability and quick visualization ability from written descriptions or discussed ideas
  • Create Illustration background preferred with different styles
  • Portray ability to execute wide range of art styles from cartoon to realistic
  • Possess ability to communicate visually, and to identify and define visual design issues and solutions
  • Exhibit excellent design skills, including the effective use of color, form, lighting, composition, Anatomy and aesthetics
  • Show proficiency in character, prop design and Background designs
  • Passionately contribute to every project
  • Work collaboratively with teams of artists, designers, quality controllers, and engineers

Skills and Experience Desired:

  • A passion for games, virtual worlds, and social networking
  • Excellent Photoshop skills and other concept art tools
  • A strong visual art portfolio
  • Have 6+ yrs of industry experience
  • Can work to specification and to schedule, in an existing pipeline, and equally work with minimal instruction if needed
