Job Description

Candidate should have good command of Malayalam.

Role Summary

The Zonal Head is responsible for achieving business targets, delivering profitability, driving AUM growth and optimizing costs within the assigned Zone while ensuring adherence to service level agreements and defined standard operating procedures. The role also drives operational efficiency across the regions, areas and branches in the zone through strong governance mechanisms. The Zonal Head manages relationships with key stakeholders, builds and nurtures teams across levels to deliver superior performance and quality service to customers, and keeps abreast of competitive activity in the zone.

KEY CHALLENGES

Aligning the team with the increased focus on the outbound sales model as opposed to the traditional branch walk-in-based sales model.

Competition from other players when they enter a new market as they poach employees and also eat into market share.

Inadequate support to build the business from a marketing perspective.

Balancing between the speed of response to market changes versus compliance with internal policy guidelines and controls.

KEY DECISIONS TAKEN

Budget approval for assigned zones and branches.

Allocation of additional resources required in the zone.

Any specific escalations related to loan issues and customer retention.

Implementation-related aspects of corporate initiatives are being cascaded down.

Actions around critical non-compliance and specific incidents.

Hiring and retention decisions.

Any escalations of queries related to auctions.
