Manual Test design / development / planning / estimation, should be up to date with the best practices in testing.



SW Platform, OS


Linux / VxWorks



HW Platform


Multi-Core DSPs, Multi-Core Cavium, GPP, etc.,



Domain / Standards


Good at either of RAN standards WCDMA/LTE, 5G



Signaling/ User Plane Protocols


All protocol aspects of O-RAN



Transport Protocols


Knowledge of IP Network-Security, Good knowledge on firewalls, Intrusion Detection (IDS), Vulnerability and penetration testing and threat mitigation.



Management Protocols


SNMP, XML



Application specific skills


SW Architecture understanding of BTS, BSC, RNC , eNB elements; Good understanding of product requirements



Design Methodologies


OOD / UML



Tools


gdb, code coverage tools, Enterprise architect tools



Scripting


Perl or Shell scripting



Process


Agile



Automation languages


Python/ROBOT(preferably experience in Automation design / development / bug fixing) , Should be upto date with best practices in test automation



Academic Qualifications:

  • B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication with 10-12 yrs. experience as a Senior Engineer/Architect.
