Milliman’s New Delhi Non- Life Practice is looking for actuarial professionals with 2-5 years of experience, who have a strong desire to expand their actuarial skills, are committed to obtaining Fellowship, and have a career goal of becoming an actuarial consultant.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree (or recent graduate) pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative course work,
  • Minimum 6 actuarial exams
  • Outstanding academic record
  • Knowledge of advance MS Office (Excel, Power point etc.) and computer programming (e.g. SAS/SQL, Python)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Minimum 2 years of non-life actuarial experience
  • Superior math aptitude and quantitative ability
  • Prior SAS, R, Python and SQL experience is preferred
  • Prior experience in non-life (health and motor)
  • Relevant experience of reserving and pricing
  • Strong analytical, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to successfully deliver on complex actuarial projects
  • Ability to plan projects, identify project deliverables, meet deadlines and ensure compliance with quality procedures
