JobTitle: Associate Director of Business Human Resources

Location: Baddi, India

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded Associate Director of Business Human Resources to oversee the comprehensive spectrum of our site’s HR function. As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for talent and performance management, strategic initiatives, culture building, employee engagement, employee relations, and managing the entire employee life cycle. Your role will involve providing strategic guidance on people aspects, driving employee relations agendas, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the full range of HR activities at Baddi Plant, including employee life cycle management, talent management, capability building, organization design, performance management, employee relations, and site compliance.

2. Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives focused on culture building, employee engagement, and enhancing employee satisfaction. Align these initiatives with business objectives and promote continuous improvement.

3. Proactively provide strategic inputs to the business on people-related matters and collaborate with stakeholders to drive employee relations initiatives at the site. Foster strong relationships with union leaders and key influencers.

4. Advise and support line managers on effective human resource management practices, ensuring alignment with company policies and engagement strategies.

5. Cultivate a culture of employee engagement that reinforces the organization’s business strategies and desired culture. Implement programs and interventions to enhance positive employee relations at the site.

6. Effectively communicate HR policies, decisions, and updates to all employees. Provide managerial support in areas of HR management and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

7. Promote employee motivation by implementing and monitoring staff recognition programs, regularly reviewing staff benefits and reward systems, and ensuring employee welfare.

8. Lead people processes at the site and ensure full compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

9. Roll out the company’s values and code of conduct to contract labor, fostering a strong connection and alignment with the company culture.

10. Maintain strong connections and liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and statutory provisions.

Qualifications:

- MBA in Human Resources or related field.

Experience:

- Minimum of 20-25 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on strategic HR management, employee relations, and talent management.

- Strong understanding of employment laws and labor compliances.

- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage critical stakeholders’ expectations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Direct Reports:

- Three direct reports at the managerial level.

Travel:

- Travel required on a pan-India basis as needed.
