Educational Qualification:- B.E(Mechanical)

Nature of experience required:-Project planning & execution with at least 5 years exp. of leading Projects teams.

Duration of experience- 20 years and above

Project preconstruction preparation

  • Preparing delivery schedule
  • Preparing a preliminary construction schedule
  • Site Preparation to start site activities
  • Prepare JSA and forecast the risk

Ensure Correctness of specifications of all items as a part of basic design

  • Actively interacts with designer and engineering consultants during the design and planning stage to correctly specify all structure & piping material Verify the designs provided by the detailed engineering consultants and effectively transfer the requirements to purchasing in case of new items and contractors for execution.
  • Verify piping specs and makes sure that it is followed

Ensure availability & quality of materials

  • Regularly interacts with procurement team to give advance information of items to be procured and to stress the Quality requirements of purchased items
  • Makes sure that indenting of materials is done in time
  • Follow up with procurement and supplier

Timely completion of project

  • Lead, monitor and supervise project team members and contractors. Influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Take corrective action (if required).
  • ·Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and line managers in a timely and clear fashion
  • Plan, schedule, track and report milestones status against targets
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, ensure that any change to project scope is documented and approved
  • Identify potential crises, devise contingency plans
  • Adhere to operational procedures to ensure that the operation department can run the plant smoothly
  • Effectively allocate available resources and determine if additional resources will be required
  • Ensuring that all project documentation is stored on share point for future reference
  • Verify final invoices and approve
  • Approve the execution drawings for buildings, equipment erection and piping.
  • Reviews contractor performance to meet quality and time targets
  • Maintain suitable infrastructure to store and repair equipment and piping/ fittings

Project cost control

  • Suggestion / implementation of alternatives drawings, equipment’s other than the ones offered by Consultant.
  • To ensure reduction in material wastage and rework
  • Review of Cost Savings sheet on a periodic basis

Maintain Safe and healthy work Environment

  • Ensure that periodic review systems are put in place to maintain Safety and Environment.
  • Ensure compliance to safety, health and environment through periodic reviews.

Document control

  • Review of quality inspection documents/formats
  • Develop new tools, procedures & best practices for project activities.
