Requirements

Bachelors Degree.
1-2 years of demonstrated business development, research, or related experience within a professional services firm.
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.
Strong research skills and analytical reasoning abilities required; previous experience identifying potential business opportunities preferred.
Knowledge of basic litigation docketing, calendaring & Civil Procedure preferred.
Knowledge of the U.S. bankruptcy process under Titles 7 & 11 of the Bankruptcy Code preferred.
Knowledge of various court websites, docket searching and document retrieval and business databases (e.g. PACER, Lexis/Nexis, Westlaw, CapitalIQ, Mergermarket, Debtwire, Law360, Hoovers) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Excel & Word.

Job Description:

Responsibilities Includes, but not limited to

Conduct in-depth research and analysis on litigation proceedings, companies, and industries using a comprehensive variety of intelligence tools and resources, delivering objective, meaningful insights in a concise manner.
Coordinate production and delivery of standard and customized research deliverables, as well as larger and more in-depth research requests to support the Firm’s BRS & FLS practices in their strategic business development efforts.
Provide support on BRS & FLS business development research projects, delivering insight and best practices.
Stay current on news and trends related to clients, prospects and related industries/markets, proactively distribute findings.
Support Advisory Services marketing team on larger initiatives and campaign activities.
Refine existing business development products and tools for greater consistency and accuracy in content.
Work with BRS & FLS professionals to understand all the resources that the Firm has at hand (across all offices) and what is available in the marketplace so that the firm is most efficiently and comprehensively capturing, filtering and disseminating research.
Any additional responsibilities as required by BRS & FLS professionals.
