Job Responsibilities

Strategy and Business Expansion

  • Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company’s business plan and overall strategic vision.
  • Lead strategic initiatives
  • Execute strategies developed by the top management team
  • Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.
  • Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Act as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the company’s plans and programs.
  • Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the organization and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

Business Operations

  • Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company.
  • Works with other c-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.
  • Work closely with the senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.
  • Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members
  • Oversee daily operations and the work of executives
  • Overseeing all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Evaluate company’s financial, operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase of operating efficiencies.
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company.
  • Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring.

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.
  • Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.
  • Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Oversee a host of daily operations, including activities related to each of the business’s departments.
  • Must accurately and efficiently organize all of the activities and operations that support business strategy and align with the company
  • Effectively administer guidance and direction for the HR, legal and other departments that report to you directly, making strong leadership skills incredibly important.
  • Mentor and interact with members of staff at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the senior executive team and all members of staff.
  • Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
  • Work with senior stakeholders, chief financial officer, chief information officer, and other executives.

Business Operations

Business Function

Marketing Department

  • Crafting strategies for Marketing team, including Digital, Advertising, Communications and Creative
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness
  • Strategizing quarterly and annual planning of company objectives
  • Budgets for the Marketing department, Setting, monitoring and reporting on team goal

Sales & BD Department

  • Set Revenue target for the Sales and BD department
  • Lead and grow the Business Development and Partnerships team across the Country
  • Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, customer needs and generate product development ideas
  • Own all plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goal
  • Forecasting and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
  • Work collaboratively across locations in the Sales & BD department

Operations dept

  • Setting up the Targets for the Operations team- Monthly, quarterly and annually
  • Overlook Operation strategy for Growth and expansion
  • Keep an bird’s eye look over operations campaigns run by the operations team
  • Forecasting and KPI reporting for the sales leaders, and upper management, for use in organizational planning, financial forecasting, budget setting and strategic planning
  • Guiding the Operations Head to formulate strategy and idea to meet the given revenue targets
  • Evaluate regularly the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives

Product Dept

  • Build strong relationships with the CPO to develop the product marketing strategy and control its implementation.
  • Make high-level decisions regarding technological enhancements, determining how to leverage technology investments and capital to support the company’s long-term revenue and growth goals
  • Build Product vision: reflects the core value and mission of the company’s offering. It explains how the product will impact the lives of customers and, globally, how it can change the world for the better.
  • Ensuring the company’s technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations

B- Support Function

Human Resource

  • Forecasting Manpower planning
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization
  • Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Nurture a positive working environment, Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans

Finance & legal

  • Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO and other key executive team members.
  • Partner with the Financial Officer to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.
  • Work with the CEO and Financial Officer in the capital raise process, participate in the company’s road shows. Meet, interact and present information effectively to potential investors and private equity firms.
  • Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements
  • Create, improve, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization that will improve operational and financial effectiveness of the company.
  • Work with the finance team to develop a solid cash flow projection and reporting mechanism, which includes setting a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs."
  • Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.

Public Relation

  • Overlook strategic communications plans that advance the business’s brand identity in the market.
  • Oversees all online web content and communications as well as social media interactions
  • Set PR Coverage/ outreach targets to the department
  • leading outward PR strategies and plans that promote key initiatives and promote the business/product’s image and reputation
  • Set KPIs for PR department

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or relevant role
  • Leadership experience of managing a team of at least 1000 people
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, Marketing, Product, Sales and Business Development etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
