General Overview

This position supports the Information Technology Delivery team, responsible for developing and support the applications at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity to work on diversified applications developed for Rotary International in niche technologies. Your contribution will serve assisting Rotary members through its Software for expanding our reach and enhancing participant engagement.

You Will Have
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience. BSc/BE/B.Tech Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or Computers
  • Professional development experience with Angular 2+, JavaScript, ES6, TypeScript
  • CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap, Angular Material) - ANY
  • Hands on experience on RESTful APIs and integration with backend
  • Exposure to NoSQL and writing Unit tests.
  • Solid understanding of distributed version control tools, particularly git (BitBucket / GitHub)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
You Are Good At
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
  • Knowledge of multiple back-end languages and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React, Node.js)
You Will Be Responsible For

Attention to Details –
  • Derive and develop high quality systems from business requirements
  • Take ownership of on-time delivery for applications and maintain good quality of systems
  • Ensure the coding standards are followed and keep technical documentation up to date
  • Should be able to perform Impact Analysis, Code Deployment on timely basis
  • Be able to provide workable and concrete solution in challenging situations under minimal guidance
  • Keep respective stakeholders communicated on any delays in Critical/ Urgent project deliveries
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Should be flexible and open for support, whenever required
  • Work with offshore development teams on multiple work products and interact with all stakeholders on daily basis as required
  • Status reporting to management as and when required
