Digital Marketing and Social Media Management Role
Job Types: Full-time, Contract

**Temporarily remote due to COVID-19. Applicants must be currently residing in Bangalore.**

JOB SUMMARY:

VMD Agro is looking for an organized, well-spoken, social media and digital marketing expert for a full-time role based in Bangalore. High preference given to proactive individuals who take initiative, and strive to achieve growth. Significant upside in salary is possible with the right attitude, skills, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities include social media management, digital marketing spend management, lead generation, and engaging with clients on current and future projects. Candidate will gain knowledge and will have the opportunity to assist in Aquaponics facility design, project management, operational logistics, and gain exposure to the fast moving Agtech industry. We are currently operating in 4 countries, and are working on a Farm Management System for Hydroponics and Aquaponics systems that can improve output upto 50% compared to traditional Hydroponic/Aquaponic farms.

JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Run lead generation processes over Google, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms
• Engage with potential clients over the phone, email and other messaging platforms
• Become proficient with Aquaponics design workflows and assist as required
• Assist VMD Agro Management in administrative tasks as required
• Content creation for various marketing and sales needs across the organization
• Draft written material, presentations, emails, documents etc for internal and external use
• Plan and execute the content and marketing calendar, factoring-in priorities

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Basic Skills
• Fluent English- written and spoken.
• Excellent writing skills adaptable for various mediums (Email, social media, articles)
• 2-4 years of work experience within social media/digital marketing preferred
• Proactive and goal-oriented with an ability to work independently
• Must own a laptop with internet connection
• Interested in problem-solving and becoming a good innovator

BONUS SKILLS

• Graphics Designing
• Conceptualize high-quality visual concepts, graphics, and layouts for online website content, Social Media, PR and awareness campaigns
• Collaborate with Content writers and other team members to build design strategy with specific emphasis on visual storytelling.
• Produce elegant, aesthetical designs like illustrations, infographics, and animation for online platforms like web, android app, social media as well as for Print Media and Books
• Understand the design brief and collaborate accordingly with the team members.
• Experience with projects in Web (banners, social media posts and short animations etc.) and Print (books, brochures, banners, advertisements, posters, mailers, etc.) and media cover designs
• Have a great aesthetic, an eye-for-detail to create, process and publish images for our global events, social media, promotional campaigns and brochures.
• Produce static graphics, animations & interactivities as per the visual strategy, learning strategy, storyboards, graphics descriptions & the pre-production brief. Strong expertise in media graphics production.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• 2-4 years of experience in Social Media/Digital Marketing
• Prior experience in campaign strategy, implementation, and evaluation
• Experience with Google Adwords, Facebook Ads, Google Analytics
• Ability to interact, communicate, and present your ideas to the respective team members.
• Familiar with different image formats and guidelines

OTHER PREFERABLE TRAITS

• Skills/experience in creating illustrations, sketches, infographics, designing icons, UIs etc. will be an added advantage.

SALARY

₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00+ per month

Working Hours: 10:30 am-7:30 pm. 6 days a week
