Roles and Responsibilities

A hands-on technical leader. He/She should have experience in application development, product engineering, or engineering services.
Manage multiple projects, coordinate dependencies, and interact with other internal teams and customers.
Be an inspirational leader with a passion for solving real problems.
Technology advisor: For new projects, assist in technology selection, design & documentation architecture.
Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve development efficiency.
Drive high performance in the Engineering team, with a relentless focus on agile methodologies and continuous innovation in processes, work practices, and tooling.
Responsible for hiring and developing engineering and engineering management talent, Manager of managers, and senior individual contributors.
Apply agile philosophy to improve team and organization performance continually.
Participate in sales calls, assist in building technical proposals and related material.
Assist the marketing team in developing case studies, whitepapers, etc., in showcasing Zymrs technical skills and capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Masters or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
12+ years of experience working in a software development team in various roles.
4+ years experience building complex technical products or technical and team leadership
Aware of Test-Driven Development & Continuous Integration
Experience in building web and/or mobile apps using the latest frameworks.
Experience in one or more languages - Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, PHP etc.
Experience in front-end frameworks like Angular, React, React-Native is a plus.
AWS Cloud experiences an added advantage.
Experience in building multi-tier & micro-service applications with exposure to caching, pub-sub, data security, authentication, messaging technologies (Kafka, Istio, Kinesis, SAML, RabbitMQ)
Strong database fundamentals and schema design skills. Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Neo4j)
Experience designing, testing, and operating production services
Communication: You like discussing a plan upfront, welcome collaboration, and are an excellent verbal and written communicator.
