To control plant safety, environment, health of employees related to operational hazards.
  • Plan and implement EHS policies and programs
  • Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics
  • Prepare educational seminars and webinars on a regular basis
  • Review existing policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all the rules and regulations
  • Work with HR to set up a new employee on-boarding process for safety
  • Conduct risk assessment
  • Enforce preventative measures
  • Identify process bottlenecks and offer timely solutions
  • Arranging / Coordinating periodically Safety committee meeting / Mock drill / Fire Drill/ Job Safety Analysis / HAZOP, Safety Audit & Safety Inspections and suggest corrective measures as part of continual improvement of EHS.
  • Conducting Yearly National Safety Day / Week Programs in view of motivation to employees by arranging Different types of Safety Competitions / Programs.
Functional Competencies Required
  • Lead auditee and auditor training for EMS & OHSAS
  • Carrying out post incident analysis.
  • Developing emergency procedures
  • Knowledge of good safety practices.
