Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible to ensure effective implementation of EMPs, review EMP submitted by concessionaire, Effectuating EMP during construction supervision and coordinating with the Clients, Forest Departments, Concerned Authorities, MoEF Officials and Meetings with Environmental Appraisal Committee for obtaining environment, forest and wildlife clearance. Generating the monthly Safety Report on project safety performance related to Environment. Also responsible to provide necessary inputs in the areas of environment and shall ensure that the contractor conforms to the necessary guidelines issued by Ministry of Environment & Forest and the state authorities. Having good knowledge of MOEF guidelines/requirements for mitigation measures.

Desired Candidate Profile

The Candidate should be Graduate in Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering or other
relevant qualification with at least 6 years experience, preferably in highway projects. He should have good knowledge of MOEF guidelines/requirements for mitigation measures. Local or nearby residents are preferable.
