Job Specification:

Lactalis Groupe is the worldwide leader in dairy industry and is operating in India though three legal entities, Sunfresh Agro Industries Private Ltd based in the state of Maharashtra, Anik Milk Products Private Limited based in Madya Pradesh and Tirumala Milk Products Private Limited based in Chennai, TN.

The group has entered the Indian market in 2014 with the acquisition of Tirumala and has since then expanded its operations via acquisition of established dairy companies with the ambition of becoming the no. 1 player in India in the private sector of the largest dairy market in the world.

As a part of the process of consolidating its operations in the country and providing an effective coordination of its legal entities, we are looking for a Finance Manager with potential to grow into the CFO position in the next 3-5 years.

The position is a new opening within the central corporate team and will be in charge of capturing value creation opportunities thanks to the successful completion of projects recently launched and, more in general, from the improvement in financial planning skills of the organization. More specifically, he/she will be directly responsible for:

  • Successful conversion to digital of the existing cash payments
  • Reduction of the current overdue with customers, coordinating the activity of the Credit Manager
  • Implementation of group treasury management tool
  • Preparation of accurate and timely short and mid-term cash flow forecasts, in order to assess in advance the need or excess of liquidity across the operating companies
  • An overall coordination of the Free Cash Flow initiatives, including dematerialization of payments
  • The optimization of the existing financing tools available across the three companies and the maximization of returns for the excess liquidity generated by the business
  • The coordination and timely execution of overseas and domestic payments
  • Any project management activity in the financial area that should arise from the need to integrate newly acquired companies or restructuring the existing legal entities.

He or she will have matured a relevant experience (with a minimum of 6 years) in a similar role with a demonstrated track record in the optimization of financial performance and digitalization of payments, achieved overcoming significant change management challenges and through pragmatic problem solving. The candidate will progressively broaden his or her professional experience in order to prove the potential to succeed in the next move as a part of the succession plan for the CFO.

    The position is based in Chennai with frequent travel within India and occasional travel abroad.

    Excellent command of the English language is mandatory. other Indian Languages will be a plus (Hindhi and Tamil especially).

    Reporting line to the Country CEO, functionally to the zone CFO.
