Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in either Bangalore or the Bay Area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong front-end and back-end development foundation, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. This role requires expertise in creating robust, scalable applications using a variety of technologies and frameworks. The successful candidate will be deeply involved in the full software development lifecycle, from conception to deployment, including advanced release management on app stores and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility of Tech Lead for a certain development vertical (Frontend/ Backend/ DevOps/ Lifecycle).
  • Develop and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications.
  • Ensure responsive and seamless user experience across various platforms and devices.
  • Implement front-end interfaces using React, React Native for Android and iOS, and CSS
  • Develop back-end server applications with Django, manage databases using PostgreSQL, and implement real-time communication using Websockets.
  • Write efficient, concurrent code to handle high-volume, real-time data processing.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines on GitHub for automatic code deployment, with provisions for easy rollbacks and previous version checkpoints.
  • Ensure automatic application restarts in the event of deployment failures.
  • Collect and ingest logs into AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and analysis.
  • Manage application deployment and operations on AWS, including EC2, ECS, SNS, SQS, Route53, and CloudWatch.
  • Implement and manage microservices architecture for scalable and efficient application performance.
  • Participate in release management processes, including app submissions and updates on Play Store and other platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements :

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
  • Proficient in React Native (for Android and iOS), React, and CSS.
  • Strong experience with Django, Redis, Websockets, and writing concurrent code.
  • In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL, Firebase, and FCM for backend services.
  • Familiarity with nginx, DNS management, message queue setup, logs management, ELK stack, and AWS CloudWatch monitoring.
  • Knowledge of creating and managing CI/CD pipelines on GitHub, including auto-deployment and rollback mechanisms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience writing native Android/iOS apps.
  • Experience with a performant backend language like Go.
  • Experience using Linux and managing system daemons.
  • Proven track record of managing app releases on Play Store and other app distribution platforms.
  • Managed hundreds of APIs in a microservices architecture.
  • Experience integrating with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Posthog, and Google Analytics.
  • Mentored junior developers in the past.
Location -This position is available in Bangalore or the Bay Area or remotely (in exceptional cases).
