About Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd

Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (A CMMI Level 3 Company) is a 100% full owned subsidiary of Eurofins. This young captive centre located in Bangalore was established in 2012 to be the largest IT Solutions group within Eurofins to cater to all the internal IT business needs. The primary focus of IT Solution group will be to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, Ecommerce solutions, ERP/CRM system & B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses.

Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Functional Analyst

REPORTING TO: Manager

REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Job Description:

As a Functional Analyst, you will define tools answering our business needs in term of production, customer relationship management and administrative processes.
You will act as a functional expert to collect the requirements from the labs – that are effectively end users of your solution – in order to establish related processes and the functional description of your tools to accompany them during their deployment.
You will be the main coordinator between our international business network and our internal IT Services and Solutions teams based in Europe and India.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

Assignments:

• Translate business requirements (from our laboratories) into applicable solutions: understand and analyse all business requirements, model pertinent solutions dedicated to the fluid organisation of the laboratories in respect of their optimised cost effectiveness and business complexity
• Implement changes or improvements based on your global view of the business and IT solutions, for our current processes / practices
• Transform all functionalities of your application into technical requirements for IT developers, and then pilot the testing phases
• During the deployment phases within Eurofins laboratories realize pre-action analyses in collaboration with local Business Process Experts, later on identify the impact of new implemented applications onto current existing solutions and propose transition plans if needed
• Coach and train key users on your application, evaluate changes and implement support services

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from school/university
  • Master of Science in a relevant field
  • Bachelor of Science with +3 years Business/Functional Analysis experience
  • Bachelor of Science with +5 years Laboratory experience
• Knowledge of BPMN and UML
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong practical experience in customer relationship management
• Excellent verbal/written communication skill as well as fluency in English
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software
• Self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible Team player with hands-on mentality

Technology

• Experience in agile development methods (Scrum)
• Usage of Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• Preferred Knowledge on any UI mock creation tools and SOA is advantageous
• Preferred experience in User Interface Design

Methodology

• AGILE Development (Scrum)

Personal skills

• Ability to work in a complex international environment
• Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies would be a plus.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.
• Lean management experience advantageous

Qualifications

• Master of Science in a relevant field
• Bachelor of Science with +3 years Business/Functional Analysis experience
• Bachelor of Science with +5 years Laboratory experience
