Position: Global Procurement Manager

Location: Remote

Reporting To: Global Senior Procurement Manager

Criteria: BE + ( Preferably) MBA / Masters in Procurement / Purchase with 5+ Years of Experience into Procurement

Job Purpose

  • Strategic sourcing of material to meet organizational targets of top line and bottom line.
  • To source new suppliers in our core categories ofcompany / professional products.
  • To follow up suppliers development according to company needs.
  • To support Quality department to do the factory audits.
  • To be part of new product development and in-charge of all procurement aspect until 1rst order delivered.
  • To generate cost saving plans and develop strategy to reach yearly targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supplier portfolio management for RM, PM, FG development (including price and commercial term negotiation, quality etc.).
  • Source new factories and perform benchmarking
  • Analyze raw material, packaging material as well as job-worker and vendor market to propose and develop the best suitable partners for company.
  • New Product development along with Local and Global team.
  • Establish supply chain for New Products.
  • Prepare PL along with Finance and Marketing team to improve profitability.
  • Identify Cost saving initiatives and execute to reach annual targets.
  • Improve Account payables by negotiating payment terms with Vendors.
  • Prepare Vendor score card annually and share it with team and vendors.
  • Conceptual development, implementation and maintenance of new global procurement tools,strategic processes and corporate guidelines (e.g. Procurement guideline, supplier council, scorecard, risk management, listing, classification) including documentation and training.
  • Perform factory assessments and audits with Quality department
  • Meet global targets of sustainability

Additional Responsibilities

  • Follow up quality issues with local teams, factories and coordinate with relevant departments (RTC, Quality, Sales etc)
  • Monitor the cost development of major raw materials and initiate price negotiation at threshold point.
  • Supervise with supply chain 1st order of new product, keep management alert on potential supply, IP issue, legal and regulation change
  • Build communication networks with overseas counter parts and Chinese partners to facilitate product information flow and create inner company efficiency in procurement
  • Improve supplier performance by supporting QA team to get 8D report for customer complaints.
  • Supplier evaluation and development based on audits.
  • Capacity enhancement for future readiness.
  • Supplier rationalization by closing the supplier which are not relevant to business.
