Business management (BM):


  • Be a change agent - Leverage India scale and collocation to accelerate and complement GT vision
  • Lead definition and execution of consistent strategy across India, working closely with global and India CIOs and various senior functional partners
  • Set comprehensive performance goals, ensure strong governance, operational integrity and discipline
  • Owner for India Leadership meetings, driving relevant agenda and outcomes in line with strategy
  • Effective vendor governance - Drive consistent strategy across India, ensure strong governance and risk management
  • Partner on overall strategy for application portfolio and application ownership for ensuring right ownership in right location
  • India Tech centers’ management: Consistency, cohesion and innovation
  • Reporting - Global, India - regular and ad hoc

Finance (as Chief Financial Officer for the group):
  • Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting: Expense and Headcount planning, performance reporting
  • Drive data visualization and Dashboarding of management reporting also bringing in consistency in reporting practices across various sub groups.
  • Expense, Fixed Assets and headcount Budgeting and continuous tracking of Budget utilization and actual performance vis a vis projections.
  • Ensure strong governance of all spends (opex as well as capex related) and strategize cost optimization and control across the group in partnership with the CIOs
  • Monitor incoming and outgoing cost allocations on a sustained basis to ensure correct capture of costs in the Income Statements
  • Financial control: Billing Control, Tax, Transfer pricing liaison

Business Administration ((as Chief Administrative Officer for the group):
  • Owner for real estate allocation in line with HLP, contributor for design inputs for new campus set up with responsibility for overall planning for any facility moves
  • Owner/SPOC for GT India for all regulatory interfaces- FRB audits, OCC exams, APA tax audits etc.
  • Owner of GT India resiliency: Planning, simulations and execution in collaborations with LoBs and Global FBR team
  • Inter Affiliate Services (IAS) governance

Leadership focus:
  • Be a culture carrier and pave way for strong team bonding, collaborative mindset and a winning culture.
  • Foster an atmosphere that promotes diversity and inclusion.

  • Lead and Drive projects and initiatives on transversal focus areas like automation, knowledge management, risk and controls etc.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • Professional with ~20 years of experience in senior leadership roles with specialization in Business Finance and Business management in financial services industry as a business partner directly front ending Technology organisations of scale having multiple verticals or pillars.
  • Has strong knowledge of operating models within product aligned Technology organizations and also exposure to recent trends in Industry tech practices including Agile transformation, product architecture, Tech prioritization etc.
  • Demonstrated leadership track record and people management skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and regionally.
  • Worked in an organization that has embraced Agile methodology of work.
  • Superior written and verbal communications skills;
  • Strategic Thinker - Implement strategies to progress the organization forward, set goals, action plans, and be able to evaluate process and results.
  • Problem Solver - Evaluate issues/gaps, generate and drive resolutions
  • Innovative - Generate ideas to come up with new ways to improve team operations.
  • Experience of working in a matrix environment.
