Job Overview:

The Human Resource Specialist will be responsible for supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, employee relations, training and development, and HR administration. This role will play a key part in fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Selection:
    • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
    • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations during the recruitment process.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Facilitate resolution of employee issues and conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct as necessary.
  • Training and Development:
    • Coordinate employee training programs and initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
    • Identify training needs within the organization and develop training plans accordingly.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements as needed.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, attendance, and leave records.
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, claims processing, and communication.
    • Assist with HR-related reporting and documentation as required.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Proven experience in human resources roles within the hospitality industry, with a strong understanding of hotel operations and dynamics.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR activities.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with employees at all levels.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
    • proficient with Microsoft and google softwares.
