Roles and Responsibilities

Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals

Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to established goals
Arrangement for computerization (Software related aspect) as and when required
Purchase efficient and cost effective technological equipment and software
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency
Develop technical aspects of the companys strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals
Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management

Devising and establishing IT policies and systems

Devise and establish IT policies and systems to ensure Security of Database, and support the implementation of strategies set by upper management
Coordinate with other IT staff and supervise them to provide guidance
Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters
Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage & Help departments use technology profitably
Maintain processes to identify, review and address cybersecurity events for review with CFO.
Maintain a process to review IT security vulnerabilities and develop action plans to remediate issues.

Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs

Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs
Assist in building relationships with vendors and creating cost-efficient contracts
Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency as per the need and business requirements
Use stakeholders feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology
Manage the implementation and integration of the new software with existing software
Identify and provide standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and reports information to company management.

Desired Candidate Profile

M.Sc./ B.Tech (IT) with 15 Years of handling IT Department for a production company, Experience of Chemical / Pharma Company will be preferred
2-3 years experience with SAP modules.
5-7 years experience in a managerial role in an IT/applications environment.
Prior project management and ERP implementation experience preferred.
