Job Description

Job Summary: To plan and execute moulding operations on time in full with the right quantity in a safe manner. This position will assist in addressing customer feedback issues with moulded components, implementing process improvements on existing processes, and implementing cost improvement ideas.

Main Responsibilities / Tasks
  • Production and capacity planning of molding function and ensure 100% production target achievement as per the plan.
  • Responsible for assuring the efficient use of materials, machines, molds, auxiliary equipment, and employees.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of long-term and short-term goals for the Molding Department.
  • Perform mold setup and color changes to meet production demands as needed.
  • Lead TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) program of molding and utility area to increase OEE.
  • Set molding process parameters to ensure the product meets dimensional and quality requirements.
  • Maintain employee performance review, training and development, and disciplinary programs.
  • Train and develop molding personnel relative to the molding process (Process technicians and molding operators), promote employee understanding about the Quality Management System.
  • Assure compliance to all molding area-related procedures, policies, and work instructions.
  • Document, report and maintain all critical production information.
Qualifications
  • B. Tech (Mechanical)/BE Plastic / CIPET
  • 10 to 12 years of experience in Molding function.
  • Preference from Plastic processing units/industries.
  • Basic MS Office Computer Skill + Quality + Operation + Planning + Strategic thinking + lean manufacturing
