Role description

Utilize strong Microsoft Excel and SQL skills in order to provide high-quality data analysis
Expert in scripting language SQL and statistical packages for analyzing datasets primarily using Excel
Familiarity with transactional and data warehouse environments
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting and analytical packages (Business Objects, Qlikview etc)
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Passionate about data and analyzing business needs, manage and complete time-sensitive custom data analysis requests
Ability to build tabular and/or visualization reports as needed
Develop and maintain automated dashboards, reports and data visualizations

Skills

Skills and Qualifications:
BA or BS in Statistics, Math, Computer Science
4 -5 years’ experience in SQL, Excel and working with large datasets
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
Experience using Python, R or other programming languages is a plus
Experience using Qlikview or other data visualization tools
Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, both verbal and written
